done the 50 hour service today (51.3 hours). i have read the book on changing just the hydro filters at 200 hours and wondered why it said to drain all the fluid first. i placed a pan under the suction filter and loosened it, fluid did flow out but not uncontrollably this filter can be changed with less than two gallons lost, i continued to drain the fluid from here, if you only loosened this filter it can be snugged back up to stop the flow to empty your drain pan, got about six gallons out here. i then did the high pressure filter only lost about two quarts or so here (i actually checked this one first). i then proceeded from front drain to rear one plug at a time dumping my drain after each plug.the two rears can be done at the same time if the 5 gal drain in centered under the tractor. i then replaced the two GOLD filters. next i changes the engine oil before draining the front axle. NOTE: remove fill plug before drain plug, drain was slow so when i removed the filler plug oil overshot my pan very fast, about a gallon on floor before i realized it.after refilling the oil cut the front a one side out of an empty bottle to use as a drain funnel on front axle, keeps oil off tires and floor. now for the refill on the transmission, i did it the easy way, in the toolbox is a 3/8 hole right over the filler plug, i pulled it out to fit a 1 inch conduit then removed the two bolts that the seat pivots on and set seat aside.using a transmission funnel through the toolbox hole and sitting on the fender i prceded to fill the tranny without strain and spilling less than 1/2 cup of oil. a 1 inch ko plug from electricial supply hose for about 25 cents was then used to fill the 1 inch hole in toolbox.

just my long ramble of how i did it, hope this helps someone else

Thanks for the info. A quick question....how do you get the service light on the digital display to go off? Do you have to take it to a dealer? ....

hold down both buttons on dash at same time, will clear in a few seconds. owners manual explains this. ....

Thanks again for the info. Enjoy your Kubota. I am using mine for raking and tedding hay and stacking the big bales onto the wagon for the trip to the barn. What a joy to drive and operate. Can't keep my brothers off of it. ....
